Muhly Grass
Muhly Grass (Muhlenbergia capillaris) is native to most of Florida’s coastal counties. It has become a popular landscape grass and is widely cultivated. It forms clumps 2-3 feet tall and up to 3 feet wide. It also seeds itself fairly easily forming additional plants. The pink color of its flower spikes blowing in the breeze gives it a wispy appearance and is truly why it is so very popular in the landscape. In South Florida it is currently in full bloom.
Richard Lyons Nursery currently has this grass in stock.
